I just realized that I have not visited this blog since the Christmas holiday. We have had so many special events since then and look, it is now Memorial Day. We are officially out of school....WOW that 180 day period of time went by in a hurry. Gracie is now officially a SENIOR in high school. Congratulations girl! Carmon has finished his first year as a conventional bus driver so I guess he has mastered another trade. I will miss the children I have become so attached to on the buses but this year I am ready for the break. I am signed up for summer school and already I hope they do not call me. Ha!
I hope you all have a safe, happy and restful summer!

Happy New Years to you all. We decided to stay in New Years night but New Years day we were invited to dinner at the home of some friends we met at the lake. She is a wonderful, old fashioned Southern girl and her cooking is just lip smacking good! She made fried chicken and the breasts looked like they came from a turkey!! They were battered in buttermilk and flour and oh, oh so good. And then there were veggies and desserts.......
I think it is time to call Weight Watchers again and start visiting them again, ha..
Pearle and Moose have become great friends. She will miss him when he goes home. Carmon is spoiling them by taking them to the dog park each day. Of course, that will change when we go back to work tomorrow.
Well, no more news for now. Take care and stay in Blog.

Christmas 2008
We had a great visit with the White's for Christmas. It was great to see them at their home in Garner and especially great to see the little ones. They have grown so much since last visit in September. For one, they have real hair now. And, they have such personalities now. It was so much fun to spend time with them. We can't wait to visit again soon. We loved the area near Garner and we have never been to that part of North Carolina. We have visited the Asheville area in years past but never the Raleigh area. It was a pleasant visit.

My First Post
My first post, how exciting! Of course, this will take a few "practice" sessions to become familiar but sounds like fun. We are visiting Shannon and Guy in North Carolina as we write. We are having so much fun playing with the babies.
